Which Foods Cause Eczema?

While there are all kinds of things that cause eczema, few people ever think it could be a food they eat all the time. Scratching away at cracked red skin can become part of a lifestyle, especially if it begins in childhood and is not fully investigated.

In fact eczema is one of the most common symptoms of food sensitivity. Sensitivity to wheat, seafood, nuts, eggs, or soy is quite rare but can cause eczema in both children and adults.

  • Much less well known is the effect of common foods:
  • Casein and Gluten cause eczema

However recent findings show that a common cause of eczema is Casein (from milk) - known as milk protein allergy. Another common cause of eczema is Gluten (from wheat, rye, barley and oats), know as Gluten intolerance.

In addition Yeast overgrowth is also known to cause chronic eczema in millions of people.

If you are one of the 75% of people who are affected by food intolerance, it makes sense to investigate - doesn't it? Untreated food intolerance is the cause of many serious Health Risks later in life.

There is only one failsafe and accurate way to identify food intolerance and that's by doing an Elimination Diet.

Did you know the cause of your eczema is likely to be one of the above? Many eczema sufferers who joined The Tuesday Club have had enormous relief, simply by doing an Elimination Diet and then changing their diet. It's easy!

    Investigate what causes your eczema

Getting to the cause of your eczema (or your child's eczema) is important because it can mask other more serious illnesses. If allergic symptoms are under control, they are less likely to be confused with the appearance of different diseases.

Imagine a child who is always scratching at his eczema. Now imagine he catches measles or chicken pox but nobody notices because he always scratches. Left undiagnosed measles or chicken pox can quickly become serious. This alone is a good reason to ensure your child's eczema is minimised

But doing the Detection Diet (our easy version of an Elimination Diet) in The Tuesday Club will allow you to identify the offending food.

Wouldn't you like to live without eczema?

    How Eczema is Caused

Eczema is an auto-immune response to a perceived invader. And there is more and more evidence that food intolerance (as well as food allergy) effects the immune system. Gluten intolerance, Yeast and milk protein (casein) in particular are all strongly linked to auto-immune reactions like skin irritation.

Some people live their whole lives with eczema without really trying to understand it. Having had it from childhood they seem to accept that they will have unsightly itching skin all their lives.

However, if a little understanding and education is applied the cause of the eczema can be quickly revealed.

If it is a food, there is no need to suffer any more. No medications and no therapies needed. Simply leave that food out of your diet - watch your skin improve and stop scratching!

Discovering which food is easy using the Detection Diet, available through The Tuesday Club.

Eczema usually occurs with other symptoms. The combination of symptoms enables you to narrow the causes of your eczema. To find out, look in the Symptoms Matrix (you must register first)

After that you need to positively identify your food sensitivity using the Detection Diet, exclusive to The Tuesday Club

As you can see from the table above Food intolerance is not rare. Lots of people have it but don't realise. Eczema is a signal from your body. Don't ignore the signal
